Launched in 2011 by friends Tatiana Santo Domingo and Dana Alikhani, Muzungu Sisters is a London-based slow fashion brand that offers ethically sourced handmade luxury goods produced by 20 different artisan communities from across the world. Each piece embodies remarkable history and is designed to be kept for years to come.
Muzungu Sisters only use natural, sustainable, and biodegradable materials that leave a minimal trace on our environment. Our pieces are hand-embroidered only in small ateliers, fully certified ethical production facilities exceeding International Labour Organisation standards, or cottage industries of women working from home to sustain their livelihoods while looking after their families.
